Hello Jouett Elementary Families,
I am looking forward to an action-packed week at Jouett Elementary! Here are a few reminders and updates for the upcoming week:
-
Attendance Academy: Attendance Academy will continue this week after school on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday for students who were invited and have parent permission to attend. Please reach out to Mrs. Sarah Messer if you have any questions.
-
Grand-Heroes Day: Grand-Heroes Day will be held on October 9th from 8:30–10:30 am. Invitations were sent home, and we ask that all forms be returned by September 30th so we can have an accurate headcount. Please reach out to your child’s teacher if you need an additional copy of the invitation.
-
Weekly Nature Challenge: Our School Counselors invite you to take a family picnic outdoors! Use your five senses—see, hear, smell, touch, and taste—to explore your surroundings while enjoying your treats. Check out our Facebook page and share your picnic pictures with us using this link: Share Your Nature Challenge Photos
-
Kids Heart Challenge: Mrs. Verbos, our LEGENDARY Gym Teacher, invites our families to Save the Date! We’re kicking off the Kids Heart Challenge from October 1st–14th. Be the first one at Jouett to sign up and start earning cool thank-you gifts! Click the link or check the school website to download the Heart Schools app: http://www2.heart.org/goto/JouettElementaryHasHEART
-
PTA Updates: The Fall Fun Run fundraiser is ongoing and ends on October 2nd. The PTA will also launch a Spirit Wear Store on October 1st with a wide variety of apparel selections. Additionally, the PTA is searching for volunteers for the Harvest Festival on October 23rd from 5:00–8:00 pm. Check out the PTA’s Facebook page and website for more information.
As always, thank you for your continued support, and I hope you have a LEGENDARY week!
