Good afternoon Trailblazer families,
This is Mrs.Bryant, your principal, calling to give you updates and reminders as we enter our second semester together. I hope everyone has had a wonderful and restful break, and we are so excited and ready for our Trailblazers to return to Jouett. I am sure the best is yet to come this year!
Please remember that Monday and Tuesday are Staff Development and Teacher Work Days for our LCPS staff. We will welcome students back to school on Wednesday, January 7th. We can’t wait to see you!
January Resource Calendars will be coming home on the first day back to school and will be posted to our JES Facebook Page. If any weather causes us to miss school, an adjusted resource calendar will be posted to the JES Facebook page. We will start with Resource Day 1.
Report Cards will come home on Friday, January 9th. Please make sure to review the documents inside and check off and return the report card envelope if you have any questions or would like a conference with your child’s teacher or our content specialists.
Don’t forget that we are partnering with Strawbridge for our 2025-2026 yearbook sales. We are offering a discount for early purchases, and this discounted price is available through the month of February. The early purchase price is $18.00. Yearbooks can be purchased online at www.strawbridge.net, or we will accept cash or checks at the school level.
Finally, looking ahead, Monday, January 19th is a division holiday. Our third through fifth-grade students will also start taking their Winter Growth Assessments beginning on the 20th. Please look for a schedule that will be coming home soon.
