Good Afternoon Jouett Families,
This is Mrs.Bryant, your principal, calling with some reminders for this week at Jouett Elementary School.
This week your Trailblazer will be participating in a fire drill.
Also, last week picture forms were sent home. Fall Pictures will take place next week on, Tuesday, October 1st. We will be taking individual and class pictures. You can send in money or choose to purchase pictures online. Please let us know if you have any questions.
The Fall Book Fair begins next week! Your child will have the opportunity to visit the Book Fair during their resource rotation. Mrs. Lammonds will be sending home additional information about this legendary event.
Also, Grandparent’s Day forms will be coming home this week. We are so excited to host our annual Grandparent’s Day on Friday, October 11th. Please review the form and RSVP if your Trailblazer plans to have family attend. This is one of our largest events of the year and we are excited to welcome our loved ones to our school community.
Just a reminder, JES PTA’s Pick-a-Date Calendar Fundraiser, is due back to school tomorrow, Monday, September 23rd. Students can earn extra accessories for the 2nd Annual JES House Pride Fun-Run
, scheduled for Friday, November 1st, by participating in the Pick-a-Date Fundraiser. The Fun-Run is a school wide event, all JES Students will participate.
The Fall Book Fair is coming in October and volunteers are needed, morning and afternoon shifts are available, sign-up on JES PTA’s website.
Mark your calendars for JES PTA’s 4th Annual Jack-o-Lantern Jamboree 
, a Louisa County Community Event, scheduled for Saturday, October 19th, from 4-6pm. JES PTA’s annual Candy Drive starts September 23rd, top 5 classes with the most candy donated, by weight, will win a pizza party. 
They are also looking for volunteers to help during the event and set up trunks, interested? Sign-up on their website. Flyers coming home soon with more details about the event.
